How can i hook up computer speakers to stereo speakers?
Q. I just bought two decent stereo speakers and hooked them up to my computer. It sounds great, but i want more sound so im wondering if i could hook up my computer speakers to my new ones. The computer speakers are normal speakers and have just the one cord to plug into the computer, where as the new speakers have the same cord except to plug them into the speaker it uses a red and white plug in thingers. There are 2 slots each of these red and white inputs, so im thinking it has something to do with that. Any help? This question probably sounds really confusing, but any ideas would be appreciated.

A. yea use something called a duel port, or headphone splitter, what they do is instead of there being 1 port 4 ur headphones, u then plug the duel port in and there is now 2, so plug in both speakers and have some fun loud music. Note: If 1 of the ports on the duel port, then you will only get sound out of 1 side of the speakers, so have both speakers plugged in at the same time. But if u want only one set then get rid of the duel port altogether, because as i said, you will get sound out of only 1 side of the speakers.

What kind of speakers do I need to replace my Infinity speakers in my Dodge Caravan?
Q. I have a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport with an Infinity sound system. The front left speakers on the dash board, and on the door are blown. What kind of speakers do I have to get to replace them? This is an amplified system.

A. You can use pioneer speakers they will not sound the as good as the infinity speakers. infinity speakers are matched to the radio. as far as being amplified the radio is not putting out that much power.

What is causing my speakers to have static and high pitched rings coming from them?
Q. I have a Dell Optiplex GX1p with a Windows 2000 Professional OS. I installed an audio card and bought some speakers recently, but when I turn on my computer and the speakers, I hear weird static or fuzzy sounds, along with a less audible high pitched ringing. When I play music, they practically go away and are barely heard in the background. It seems to be only noticeable when sound is not playing. I have checked the connection of the card and the speakers, but I have no idea how to make the weird sound go away.

A. First, check if your sound card is installed properly. Next, try your speakers on a mp3 player. If it works fine, your sound card has issues. Return to your dealer immediately. But if the speaker has the same behavior as to when it is connected to your sound card, your sound card is fine, your speaker is grounded. Open your speaker up and check all the wires that is connected to the board (except the power line. Remove your speaker's plug before opening.) Check and see if any of the wire's solder is bad. Resolder them. Also check to see if any of the wire's is cut and touching parts of the board. Wrap the wires with an electrical tape (usually black in color). Or better yet, replace them.
