What are those gibberish websites you run into when searching on google?
Q. You'll enter in a search query- for instance "five best nirvana songs of all time"- and you'll run into sites that contain that sentence but it's mixed up with all sorts of gibberish. It'll just be a huuuggee run-on paragraph of utter nonsense- like some demon-possessed person wrote it. Usually there are a bunch of ads off to the side, and the website has absolutely nothing contextually to do with your search query.

how do i translate a scanned document in word from gibberish to english?
Q. I scanned a document to my computer, and no matter what I do, it scans in as a Windows Live document. I have saved it to Word, and upon opening it, the document reads as gibberish. A box comes up when I open it and offers me "File Conversion". I have the choice of Windows Default, MS-Dos, or Other Encoding. I have NO idea what to do, but I cannot read the document, no matter what I do.
Asked by brat - Sun Apr 11 23:18:19 2010 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Scanners scan documents as pictures. If you want to read the document in a word processor you'll have to run it through OCR (optical character recognition) software. Loading a picture into Word *will* give you gibberish - Word isn't a picture editor.

A. Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. If all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.

Why does mike donehey start speaking gibberish at the end of 'in my arms'?
Q. In the song In My Arms by Tenth Avenue North, Mike Donehey, the lead singer, at least I'm assuming it's him, he starts saying really weird things, gibberish I guess. It's weird. Maybe he's just being random, but I was just wondering whether anyone else heard it or is it just me and my version of the song?? Listen to the song if you've never heard it, it's pretty good, but still, question remains! Thanks for any answers!

A. Unless they are text files you can not. You need to read them in whatever format they were created, look at the extensions of the files (the part of the name after the . like .doc) then do an internet dearch for that extensions to find the right program.

what is wrong with my HP printer? It has stopped printing what it is asked to print and prints gibberish.?
Q. When I ask my printer to print, it will instead print a single line of gibberish and spit out the sheet. Then it does the same with the next sheet and the next until it uses all the paper. If I put in more paper, it continues to do the same thing. I have purchased new ink cartridges, uninstalled and reinstalled the printer but nothing has helped.

Q. It usually sounds like parts of different stories, but jumbled up. Is is some code that allows senders to get paid? If so, why not just use some code-name?

A. That's used to get past content indexing. Many anti-spam programs are set to look at the content of the message, to figure out if the message is meaningful. For example, it's easy to filter out a message based on it containing "Viagra," "hardcore" or the like. The problem is, there are plenty of messages that use those words legitimately, so you can't just kill messages on the basis of them containing those words. Instead, using the same sort of grammar checker that Word and similar programs use, some spam filters look at a sentence to see if it has grammatical / sytactical constructs that look like real sentences. If so -- in other words, if the sentence has a noun, a verb, some adjectives and adverbs, and they all appear in the… [cont.]

Q. I can print documents from my desktop fine, but trying to print a confirmation from paying bills or from online banking just prints out pages and pages of letters that don't make any sense. Help!
Asked by Denise T - Thu Feb 12 13:26:04 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments

A. Go to print preview before printing. If you son't see your document, look at the top left and you will see the page numbers in the queue. Advance one page and you should see your document. If it looks good, then print from that menu and it will work. You probably need an updated driver. Usually, that is the isuue when you get garbage on the printout.
